Mulu Park Show Cave :: Clearwater Cave

Clearwater is the typical Mulu cave system on the grandest of scales – high energy active river levels and multi-layered relic cave above.

Discovered in 1978 by a British Caving Expedition, the Clearwater System has now been explored for over 150 kilometers. Despite 3 decades of effort, there is little doubt that a lot more of this cave remains to be discovered.

It’s undisputed the longest cave in the South East Asia.

With its underground river, Clearwater is a fascinating cave to stroll around. Plankwalks, paths and small floating bridges make this an easy and enjoyable experience.

A crystal clear pool that is filled by water that flows out of the cave, ideal for swimming after the tired exploration journey.
