The trail sequence is printed on the map at the below.

#1: Tourist Information Centre. A good stating point to gather map and basic information about Melaka.

# 2: Melaka River with Tan Boon Seng bridge. Points of interest including Cheong Ho Museum, Chicken Rice Ball Restaurant and Jalan Hang Jebat (was Jonker Street).

# 3: Baba and Nyonya Museum at Jalan Tan Cheong Lock. This museum is only heritage stop visited by China President Hu during his official visit to Malaysia. Other interested points are Hang Kasturi’s tomb, and Chinese clan houses.

# 4: Cheong Hong Teng Chinese Temple. The oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia.

# 5: Kampung Kling Mosque. It was built in 1748, is one of the oldest mosques in Malaysia.

# 6: Sri Poyyatha Vinayagar Temple.

# 7: Town Square, Christ Church, Stadthuys and War Memorial. Several red color iconic buildings are located in the square.

# 8: St. Paul’s Church, A’Famosa Fort and British soldier graveyard

# 9: Malacca Sultanate Replica Palace.

# 10: Malaya Independence Memorial.
